Mohammed co-founded The 264 Cru in 2015 and they’ve been making waves ever since.
The diverse collective made up of DJs, creatives and vibe hounds want to help Dubai’s cultural development.
Several of the members know the music scene in Dubai well and now want to share it with the world. Having lived or travelled there, they are thrilled to be able to cut out their own space in shaping the scene. Beyond local motivations and aspirations, they aim to bring a chunk of Dubai with them wherever we find ourselves next, helping change perceptions across the globe.
The 264 Cru have been exposed to the typical ‘Dubai image’ of “Isn’t it all just ‘fake’ out there?”. It can be easy to trash on a young developing city. It’s therefore a rewarding task for them to host forward thinking international guests and send them off with the impression that just like any city, there are real, dedicated, and passionate people who share common interests and values. 264 do this via their website, gigs, music and newsletters.

In 2016, 264 Records was born. 264 Records focuses on releasing regional and international talent in tune with the founders’ vision to build community, and encourage others to raise the level of music culture and diversity within their own circles and beyond.
